About

Tom and Marie’s blog about cat ownership, fostering, socializing, and our volunteer work with the Seattle Animal Shelter, and Alley Cat Project, a non-profit organization that does trap-neuter-release (TNR) of feral cats in Seattle. Tom also volunteers for PAWS Cat City adoption center in the University District.

Our first post talks about how we started and why we do this.

More about our other activities is on Tom’s web site.

  1. Hi~ Love your blog, info, stories, and feline interest. I work and volunteer at FCSNP; thanks for the link! And I also volunteer at MEOW in Kirkland. I’ve done a bit at PAWS too for their big auction. I am a new marketing/social media intern at FCSNP and would love to get some info to you about our current spay/neuter special on Mom & Kittens. I am currently trying to do some outreach on press realeases that have already gone out. Do you have an email address I could add to our media list for the future (I could still get you the current info now and it would be great it you could post something!). I could also put you in touch with our Executive Director, Lauren Glickman, if you needed or wanted more info. I think we could be great resources for each other since you have such and interest in ferals and we have such an interest in altering and returning them! Plus, we do ferals for free, have trappers all over the area, etc. Thanks so much!

  5. Hi guys,

Great blog! I have enjoyed it quite a bit. The kitties are adorable!

I have some news. Due to my kitty Barbra’s love for toilet paper, I designed a cover to protect the toilet paper roll on the wall and I wanted to offer it to you for free so you can try it. If you like it, maybe you can tell people about it. I have a Patent Pending and it’s being sold in some stores in CA already.

Please visit my website and check it out. The story of my crazy kitty is there and you will love it.

    Thanks!

  8. I love your blog. I will definitely follow it.

Would you please take a look at this kitty and read her story? Her rescuers are desperately searching for her owners. Her owners are believed to be in the Seattle area. Would you help spread the word? Thank you so much.

  9. Who is your natural vet. I am looking for a veterinarian with a natural mindset. My cat had blockage from struvite crystals and I would like to get advice from recovery and prevention in the future but would like to work with a natural vet. Can you email your vet’s contact info?

    Thanks!
